Description
The Category III course expands the knowledge and skills to master the different measurement techniques (single-channel and multichannel) and vibration analysis that allow the analyst to diagnose most fault conditions and their corrective actions.
Addressed to:
Maintenance and reliability technicians and engineers with a minimum experience of 36 months in the analysis and diagnosis of faults through vibration analysis and with ISO 18436-2 Category II certification who wish to consolidate and acquire specific knowledge for fault diagnosis based on the ISO 18346-2 standard.
With the course you get:
- Consolidate knowledge of measurement and analysis techniques and their application in diagnosing the most common failure modes detectable through vibration analysis.
- Have the technical criteria for the definition of continuous monitoring systems.
- Know how to configure multichannel equipment for the detection and analysis of failure modes.
- Interpret the results of specific measurements for diagnosis such as: start-stop tests, Bode plots, polar plots (Nyquist), orbits, phase, envelope/demodulation analysis, etc.
- Know and know how to apply the ODS, Modal Analysis and Finite Element techniques as tools for the analysis and diagnosis of problems that affect the dynamics of machines.
- Recommend and validate corrective actions and restrictions on the operation of the machinery based on its condition.
- Provide training and technical direction to Category I and II personnel.
Certification:
- Certification Requirements:Be ISO 18436-2 category II certified, have completed the category III certification course and have at least 36 months of experience in vibration analysis and diagnosis.
